An in-room jacuzzi, a terrace facing the sunrise balloons and the quiet of a 12-room hotel.

View rooms

Most couples planning a Cappadocia honeymoon look for three things: a jacuzzi in the room, balloons at sunrise and somewhere away from the crowds. Our 50 m² Queen Suite and King Suite both have an in-room jacuzzi and a balcony; the hotel has just 12 rooms on a quiet lane in Uçhisar, and our terrace looks out over Uçhisar Castle.

Below you'll find the suites, a relaxed three-day plan and the practical things worth knowing before you book a honeymoon stay.

Why honeymoon in Uçhisar?

Uçhisar is only 5 km from Göreme, Cappadocia's busiest village, yet its evenings are far quieter. That is the balance most honeymooners want: during the day you can reach anywhere in the region quickly, and at night you come back to a peaceful village.

Sunset within walking distance

Uçhisar Castle is about 1 km from the hotel. Watch the sunset from the viewpoints around the castle and stroll back through the village.

Balloons from the terrace

On flight mornings you can watch the balloons from our terrace. If you'd like to fly together, our tour desk can help you book with a balloon company; see our hot-air balloon guide for what to expect.

A small hotel, personal attention

With 12 rooms there are few guests, and you talk to our front desk directly about transfers, tours or a photo shoot. Photo shoots and transfers are paid services.

A romantic three days

An unhurried plan that leaves room for a cancelled balloon flight:

  1. Day 1 · late afternoon

    Sunset by the castle

Check in, then walk up to Uçhisar Castle for sunset.

  2. Day 2 · dawn

Fly, or watch from the terrace

Booking your flight for the first morning leaves a second chance if it is cancelled.

  3. Day 2 · afternoon

    Göreme and Love Valley

Visit the Göreme Open-Air Museum, then stop at the Love Valley viewpoint.

  4. Day 2 · sunset

    Red Valley

One of the region's favourite sunset spots.

  5. Day 3 · morning

    Pigeon Valley

A gentle walk on the trail that starts about 1.1 km from the hotel.

  6. Day 3 · afternoon

    Pottery in Avanos

Avanos has workshops where you can try the potter's wheel together.

  7. Day 3 · evening

    Back to your suite

Unwind in your jacuzzi suite after a long day.

Frequently Asked Questions

When is the best time for a Cappadocia honeymoon?

Spring (April to June) and autumn (September and October) are the most popular, thanks to mild weather and generally good flying conditions. Summer is hotter and busier; winter is cold but romantic in the snow, although balloon flights are cancelled more often in that season.

Do you have rooms with a jacuzzi?

Yes. Our 50 m² Queen Suite and King Suite each have an in-room jacuzzi, a balcony and a king-size bed. You can see current rates on the room pages and book directly.

Can the hotel book our balloon flight?

Yes, our tour desk can help you book a balloon flight. Flights in Cappadocia depend on the weather and only go ahead on mornings when the authorities allow them, so they can be cancelled on windy days. That is why we suggest booking your flight for the first morning of your stay.

How many nights should we stay for a honeymoon?

We recommend at least two nights, ideally three. That gives you a second morning if your balloon flight is cancelled, and time to explore the valleys without rushing.

Can you decorate the room or prepare a surprise?

Write to our front desk after booking with what you have in mind. We will tell you in advance what can be arranged and whether there is a charge, so we can plan your surprise together.
